The ideal candidate is an expert in driving large-scale SAP programs across distributed teams (onsite/nearshore), with deep understanding of airline-specific processes, governance structures, and executive stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead full lifecycle SAP programs across airline functions (finance, ticketing, logistics, planning)
• Manage scope, timeline, budget, and risk across cross-functional teams and vendor landscapes
• Provide strong technical oversight (e.g., architecture decisions, test readiness, data cutover)
• Engage directly with senior airline stakeholders to align business goals with technical delivery
• Coordinate nearshore delivery teams and ensure quality, accountability, and transparency
• Report into executive boards, steering committees, and audit functions where applicable
Requirements:
• 2+ years program/project management in large SAP environments
• Proven experience in airline or transportation sectors (finance, operations, route optimization)
• Strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, PaPM, and integration programs
• Confident managing multi-vendor setups, internal/external delivery teams, and test/go-live cycles
• Excellent communication, stakeholder alignment, and problem-solving skills
It is a 6-9 month contract plus extensions and is English and German speaking.
Start: July
Location: 40% in Frankfurt – 4 days every second week, rest remote
